AHARS has installed a KIWI SDR remote receiving station at Ironstone Range, The site was setup and is maintained by our training co-ordinator Paul VK5PH. This remote site was built to overcome the noise we often experience on the HF bands.
Each KIWI SDR provides four receiving channels and there are four KIWI SDRs at the site. You can access these receivers via your computer and transmit via your own transceiver.
