AHARS General meetings are held at the Blackwood Uniting Church, 266 Main Road, Blackwood at 7.30 pm on the third Thursday of the month. The venue is located at the Blackwood roundabout
Affiliation with the WIA
AHARS is an affiliated club with the Wireless Institute of Australia (WIA) which has represented amateur radio in Australia since 1910.
The WIA Weekly News Broadcast on Amateur Radio topics can be heard at 9:00am each Sunday on the AHARS VK5RAD 147.000 Repeater. The news broadcast runs for about 30 minutes.
